Sunday School and Children's Church
Our Children's Church program is a really fun VBS program right now. Our Children's Church program happens in the basement of the education wing during our Worship Service, 10:00 through 11:15 a.m. and makes learning about Jesus fun for those in pre-K through 8th grade. Sunday School for children is also available from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. If your child is not picked up at the end of Sunday School, they will continue in the Children's Church class and can be picked up in the basement at the end of Church. The nursery room can be found just down the hall from the office. If you are interested in working with our children, please contact the office at 503-829-2901.
We have started a Calling Program by telephone to check in on our church family. We want you, our church family, to feel loved and cared for as a part of the church and God's family, so please feel free to share. The person from the Church will be asking you if there is anything the church can help you with and/or how we can better pray for your needs. This information will then be given to our Elders and leaders for follow-up and to Joni to add or adjust our prayer list.
Sunday Breakfast Cooks
We have been blessed for over 10 years in starting our Sunday activities with a breakfast for everyone. Many cooks and helpers have served the Lord with their cooking talents. Be sure to thank those who get up early on Sundays to make our delicious meals. (this event is not active during summer months).
Molalla Christian Church is honored to be able to help families in need in the Molalla River and Colton School District through our monthly food give. There is approximately 3-5 days worth of food that includes most staples such as breakfasts, eggs, peanut butter, jelly, milk and more; including meats and fresh produce. The food does vary as this is based mostly on donations that are brought in. Currently, we are service about 100 families in our community. If you are in need of a food box or know someone who is, please contact Beverly at 971-563-9673 by the Monday of the week the food is given; which is the 3rd Thursday of each month. This food is given with no questions asked, based on the honor system.
All ladies interested in seeing what the women of the church are up to are invited; maybe you'll even find a ministry that God is calling you to help in.
Refuge of the Pines is a Christian Ranch for "Children" in Guaimaca, Honduras. The Orr family makes this home a home and a family for these children. Our church is honored to have the opportunity to support the Orr family in their mission. There are a group of people from Molalla Christian Church that goes to visit the home to bring supplies each year. Please contact the church if you are interested in helping with this ministry in any way, including but not limited to donations of cash or supplies or joining the team on their trip. You can see more of the family on their face book page.
Reaching India with the Gospel.
Through IEM programs, Christ's love is exhibited in a tangible way and many come to know Him.
IEM focuses on training Indian nationals in the Word of God, that they may be fully equipped to reach their communities with His love. The IEM Bible College, Leadership Training Institute and Evangelist Support Network exist to meet this challenge.
God-willing, IEM intends to continue its work in India by establishing a strong Christian witness and planting churches. Please pray with us as we continue this Gospel-centered endeavor. We thank you whole-heartedly for your support and prayers.
